WHERE DOES IT HURT?

Select an area to explore conditions and treatments.

Pain can have many different causes. Choose the area that is troubling you to explore common conditions, treatment options and when specialist assessment may be helpful.

Knee Pain

Knee pain may result from sports injuries, meniscus or ligament damage, cartilage problems, arthritis or other conditions affecting movement and stability.

Treatment Philosophy

Surgery isn’t always
the first answer.

The goal is not to choose the most aggressive treatment — it is to choose the right treatment for the individual patient. Whenever clinically appropriate, Dr. Gadallah considers conservative and non-surgical options first, progressing to more advanced treatment only when the diagnosis and expected benefit support it.

“The treatment plan should fit the patient — not the other way around.”
01
Conservative Care
Rehabilitation, activity modification and other non-surgical approaches when clinically appropriate.
02
Targeted Treatment
Injections, minimally invasive options and modern techniques selected according to the diagnosis.
03
Surgery When Appropriate
Surgical treatment is considered when it offers a clear and meaningful benefit for the patient.
One principle throughout: treatment decisions are guided by the diagnosis, symptoms, lifestyle, activity level and individual goals.
Innovation in Rehabilitation

Advanced technology.
Integrated into recovery.

As part of our commitment to modern, non-surgical care, selected treatment and rehabilitation plans can incorporate INDIBA® TECAR therapy — a non-invasive radiofrequency technology operating at a fixed 448 kHz frequency.

Used alongside appropriate rehabilitation, exercise and clinical treatment, INDIBA can provide an additional therapeutic option for pain management, mobility and musculoskeletal recovery in carefully selected patients.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers.
Before your visit.

A few of the questions patients most often ask before an orthopedic consultation. Every condition is different, so your diagnosis and treatment options will always be discussed individually.

Have a specific question?
Contact the team or arrange an assessment with Dr. Gadallah.
01 Do all orthopedic conditions require surgery?
No. Many orthopedic conditions can be treated without surgery. Dr. Gadallah considers conservative and non-surgical options whenever clinically appropriate, including rehabilitation, activity modification, targeted injections and other treatments based on the diagnosis. Surgery is considered when it offers a meaningful benefit and is the appropriate option for the individual patient.
02 What should I bring to my appointment?
If available, bring any previous X-rays, MRI or CT scans, medical reports, laboratory results and details of previous treatment. This information can help Dr. Gadallah understand the history of your condition and avoid unnecessary repetition of investigations.
03 Can I request a second opinion before surgery?
Yes. If you have already received a diagnosis or surgical recommendation, Dr. Gadallah can review your condition, existing imaging and previous reports. The aim is to help you understand your diagnosis, available alternatives and whether surgery is currently the appropriate next step.
04 Do you treat sports injuries and active patients?
Yes. Dr. Gadallah treats a range of sports and activity-related orthopedic problems, including ligament, meniscus, tendon and joint injuries. Treatment may involve rehabilitation, non-surgical management, minimally invasive procedures or surgery depending on the injury and the patient's activity goals.
05 Do you see international patients?
Yes. Dr. Gadallah sees both local and international patients and consultations are available in Arabic and English. For patients travelling to Cairo, the team can also help coordinate parts of the treatment journey such as consultation, hospital care, accommodation, transportation, physiotherapy and recovery support when required.
06 Where can I see Dr. Ahmed Gadallah?
Dr. Gadallah currently consults at EVERMED Bones Clinic in 6th of October City and at his Nasr City clinic. Appointment availability varies by location. EVERMED Performance at Ozone Mall, New Cairo is also planned as an additional integrated-care location and is currently coming soon.
