Dr. Ahmed Gadallah Orthopedic Surgeon

Orthopedic Treatments

The right treatment starts with the right diagnosis.

Orthopedic care is not one-size-fits-all. Treatment may range from rehabilitation and targeted therapies to minimally invasive procedures, joint reconstruction or complex limb surgery.

Treatment Questions

Choosing treatment starts with clarity.

The diagnosis comes first. Treatment follows the condition, symptoms and individual goals.

How do I know which treatment I need? +
Treatment is selected after understanding the diagnosis, symptoms, examination findings, relevant imaging, lifestyle and individual goals.
Does seeing an orthopedic surgeon mean I need surgery? +
No. Orthopedic treatment may include rehabilitation, activity modification, injection treatment, minimally invasive procedures or surgery, depending on the condition.
What is the difference between limb lengthening and cosmetic lengthening? +
Limb Lengthening & Reconstruction addresses selected medical problems such as limb-length discrepancy, shortening or associated deformity. Cosmetic limb lengthening, also called stature lengthening, is elective reconstruction performed for height increase in appropriately selected adults.
Can I request a second opinion before surgery? +
Yes. A second-opinion consultation can review the diagnosis, imaging, previous treatment and proposed surgical plan.
What should I bring to an assessment? +
Bring available X-rays, MRI or CT scans, radiology reports, previous medical or surgical records and details of treatments already tried.
